2014 Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival - Dustin Lynch

Dustin Lynch is one of today’s most successful young artists. His self-titled debut hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart – making him the only new male artist to achieve such a feat that year. The album’s lead single, “Cowboys and Angels,” exceeded platinum sales status while earning Lynch a legion of devoted fans. “Cowboys and Angels” became a modern day country classic, ending the year as one Billboard’s Top 5 Country Songs of 2012.

Dustin’s sexy, up-tempo barnstormer “She Cranks My Tractor” reached #1 on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown. Rolling Stone heralded Dustin Lynch as “The New Hat in Town” in the magazine’s 2013 “Best of Rock” issue. Lynch’s career momentum continued as he opened for Keith Urban on his recent Light the Fuse Tour and earned critical praise from American Songwriter, Billboard, Country Weekly, Elle, The Los Angeles Times, People, The Washington Post and USA Today, to name a few.

Dustin has soared to #1 on the MTV Music Meter, earned a #1 ringtone on CMT, a Top 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Songs Chart, two American Country Award nominations and one CMT Music Award nomination. 2014 Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival - Martina McBride
Martina McBride has been called the "Celine Dion of Country Music" for her big-voiced ballads and soprano range. With a pop-styled crossover sound, Martina has had a string of major hit singles on the Billboard country chart and occasionally on the adult contemporary chart. Five of these singles went to No. 1 on the country chart between 1995 and 2001, and one peaked at No. 1 on the adult contemporary chart in 2003.

Martina has sold over 14 million albums In the U.S. In addition, She has won the Country Music Association's "Female Vocalist of the Year" award four times (tied with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert for the most wins) and the Academy of Country Music's "Top Female Vocalist" award three times.
What Martina McBride intended her latest album to be was a simple gift, but what she wound up with is a timeless treasure.

The multi-million selling vocalist gathered a group of enduring musical chestnuts and assembled a small band to record them live in the studio. The result, a collection titled Everlasting, is a stunning listening experience, with McBride finding fresh nuances in familiar lyrics and working within beautifully crafted new arrangements of cherished melodies.

Neal McCoy has released ten studio albums on various labels, and has released 34 singles to country radio.

In 1993, Neal broke through with the back-to-back number 1 singles "No Doubt About It" and "Wink" from his platinum-certified album No Doubt About It.

His commercial success continued into the late 1990s with two more platinum albums and a gold album, as well as six more Top Ten hits.

Neal returned in early 2003 with "The Luckiest Man in the World," following it with "That’s Life" in 2005. A seventh Top Ten hit, the number 10 "Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On," came in 2005 from his self-released "That’s Life."

"Music of Your Life," a big band jazz and country amalgam with Les Brown, Jr. recorded for a public television special, appeared in 2011, with a new studio album, XII, finally arriving in 2012.

Blackjack Billy is a country rock group based in Nashville which performs what the group calls "Redneck Rock." Their debut single, "The Booze Cruise," was released in March 2013.

 SiriusXM satellite radio's country channel "The Highway" began playing "The Booze Cruise" as a Highway "Find." It's cited as the biggest-selling song on iTunes by any band without a major record deal in the first half of 2013.

The group performed at the 2013 Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival.

Country-Christian artists Red Roots have a stage persona as fiery as their blazing red locks. These triplets engage the crowd with their story through real life lyrics and rolling banjos intertwined with rocking guitars. Through their unwavering boldness there is a Southern Mississippi charm rooted in faith, family, and an unshakable call to show the world where true Hope is found.

 Dove nominated group for "Country Album of the Year" -- "Triplicity" (2014).

Over the past two years Red Roots has opened for Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Charlie Daniels, Ray Stevens, Diamond Rio, Guy Penrod, Don Williams, Dailey & Vincent, High Valley (Canadian Country Artist).

Mustang Sally is a hard-hitting, energetic and electrifying band comprised of six extremely talented women. Mustang Sally has performed alongside high profile names such as Montgomery Gentry, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, and Blake Shelton, in addition to being demanded worldwide as fair and festival headliners.

Perhaps the best all-girl touring band in the nation, Mustang Sally routinely perform over 200 dates a year, and have toured the U.S. from coast to coast, as well as Europe and Asia.

2014 Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival - Crystal Yates
Crystal Yates is a recording artist and singer/songwriter from McKinney, Texas and the January, 2014 winner in the National Country Showdown, the biggest and longest running country music competition, whose past contestants include Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, Sara Evans, and many more. In addition to the grand prize of $100,000, Crystal was also named the Best New Act In Country Music.

Crystal was raised in Niceville and attended NHS and OWCC, where she was a member of the Soundsations.

Crystal is a frequent songwriter, with not only her own original writing but also collaborations with #1 Country writer and CMA award winner Don Poythress, Dove Award winning songwriter Jennie Lee Riddle, Nashville songwriter and producer, Michael Farren, and others.

Her latest country album is being produced by Grammy winner Charlie Peacock (The Civil Wars, Holly Williams) and will be released Oct 7, 2014.

Hunter Phelps, born and raised in Niceville, started playing guitar when he was about 13, started writing music during his freshman year of college, and began to perform shortly thereafter. Hunter enjoys writing about real life experiences, so many of his songs are about hunting, fishing and being a country boy. Hunter played in the band .Caliber all through college at the University of Florida.
