A Festival of Food

Parade Magazine did not name the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival a top 12 food festival without good reason – and great festival food!

As you might expect, smoked and fried mullet is a local favorite. But mullet is just the beginning.  There is something to satisfy every taste: Seafood, oriental foods, Cajun and country cooking, sweets, and other festival fare will be available in great variety and abundance!

Organizers go to great lengths to ensure a wide variety of quality food and refreshment offerings.  The menu changes from year to year but here’s an idea of the sort of foods available: Shrimp, shark, alligator, crawfish, BBQ, shrimp tempura, fried vegetables, bratwurst, wings, chicken, burgers, funnel cakes, kettle corn, cotton candy, hot apple dumplings, ice cream, sodas, frozen drinks, coffee drinks and so much more!
